Initially, I was burned out on agencies. I actually avoided that word. I called my own studio a 'fractional team with an in-house feel.' But Flow Ninja proved me wrong. They didn't act like a vendor; they acted like part of my team. I literally call them my web team.

Intro

The WebOps team partnered with ShyftOff to rebrand and rebuild its website from the ground up. In roughly four months from kickoff to launch, the team delivered 22 pages across 10 unique templates - separate journeys for enterprise buyers and prospective agents, a bolder visual identity, and a platform built to support ShyftOff's push into AEO-driven inbound growth.

What we did

Background

ShyftOff helps enterprise contact centers move past a hiring model that has not changed in 40 years. Its platform connects contact centers with top US-based customer service talent who have opted out of traditional employment for flexible, self-employed work - cutting operating costs by 35% or more without giving up coverage or quality.

The business is built on two audiences that need almost nothing in common from a website: enterprise buyers evaluating a new way to staff their contact centers, and individual agents deciding whether to apply to the platform. Before this project, ShyftOff's site was not built to tell them apart.

The challenge

ShyftOff's old site was generating real traffic - around 22,000 monthly visitors, but almost none of it was legible. There was no distinct path for business buyers versus prospective agents, so traffic, leads, and campaign performance were all blended together. The team could see that leads were coming in at a low, flat rate, but not which pages, campaigns, or messages were actually producing them.

Search visibility was limited by the same lack of structure. A handful of blog posts ranked well on their own, but weak interlinking and no consistent topical architecture kept the site from building broader authority. ShyftOff had not yet built toward AEO at all; the infrastructure for showing up in AI-generated answers simply did not exist.

The trigger for the rebuild was the platform itself: ShyftOff's product had matured well past what its website was communicating, and the gap between the two was starting to show up in how enterprise prospects perceived the company.

The solution

The WebOps team ran this as a full rebrand, redesign, and rebuild, not a refresh. That meant a new visual identity, new information architecture, and a new CMS foundation built to support two very different audiences on one site.

The rebrand introduced bolder colors, distinct typography, and a signature shooting-stars motif that kept the brand feeling energetic without losing enterprise credibility. A dedicated toggle at the top of the site, paired with a light mode for business visitors and a dark mode for agents, gave each audience an immediate, unambiguous signal of which path they were on, something the old site never offered.

Flow Ninja by far is one of the most creative teams I've worked with. They were able to capture the look and feel of what we were trying to achieve when we set out to build a website that would attract enterprise buyers.

The build shipped 10 unique page templates and 22 total pages, each with custom visuals and a Lottie animation, plus a dedicated SEO/AEO content hub to house ongoing marketing content. Content architecture and CMS improvements were treated as core deliverables alongside the visual rebrand, giving the ShyftOff team a structure they could actually publish into and reuse—something the old site's inconsistent layout never allowed.

SEO & AEO strategy

With the old site's biggest limitation being structure rather than content, the WebOps team rebuilt ShyftOff's information architecture around a small set of category themes—starting with positioning ShyftOff as a leading resource for flexible outsourcing and a direct alternative to incumbent BPOs. Stronger interlinking connected existing high-performing content to new pages instead of leaving it isolated.

Because AEO infrastructure had never been built, the new site was structured with AI-generated answers in mind from the start, rather than retrofitted later—clean content hierarchies, clear topical authority, and a content hub designed to be cited, not just crawled.

The results

Since launch, ShyftOff's qualified web leads have roughly tripled—the site now produces in a single month what it used to produce across a full quarter. Almost 60% of those leads now come from businesses finding ShyftOff through comparison searches on ChatGPT and Perplexity, and ShyftOff's blog content has started appearing in AI Overviews for core industry topics.

Deal outcomes have moved too: in the twelve months before launch, ShyftOff converted digital leads into deals are up roughly 45%, with the new landing pages also making a subsequent paid ads push more effective.

The bigger shift has been qualitative. Leadership sees the new site as a real inflection point in how the market perceives ShyftOff, and prospects in the pipeline now spend less time questioning whether the model works and more time discussing how it would work for their business.

The achievements

  • Full rebrand and rebuild across 22 pages and 10 unique templates, launched in roughly four months
  • Dedicated business/agent toggle with light and dark modes replaced blended, unreadable traffic paths
  • Qualified web leads roughly tripled
  • About 60% of qualified web leads now originate from ChatGPT and Perplexity comparison searches
